Original Description:
This is an authentic WG Wheeler Flying Saucer lamp probably made in the early 1950's and made in Deep River Conn. I have had several and this is the last one. The lamp features a metal base with a brass pole going up to the saucer shade. The lower part of the lamp has a cage like surrounding the pole, this is a unusual style for this lamp and very hard to find. The lamp stands about 13 1/2" tall and the shade is 12" in diameter. No missing parts. There is a very slight bit of paint rub... along the edge of the shade, and edge of base( see pic for detail), there is also a spot on the top of shade-not sure what that is -hardly noticeable and could easily be covered.  Lamp has a switch that looks like bakelite. It works perfectly and gives that great MCM feel to your décor.  Shipping to the US48 only.
