HANDMADE OOAK ENSEMBLE FOR MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY MADE FROM A VIN...TAGE PATTERN AND FABRICS will also fit the 20" Miss Revlon, Dollikin and like dolls (My doll, her shoes, hose and props are not a part of this auction)A picture is worth 1000 words and I have taken many shots of this creation to show you what I am offering here. This ensemble is constructed in the style of and with the same attention to detail as Cissy's originals... My close up pics will show you exactly what you are bidding on. Many of my items are made in the likeness of Original designs...Today Cissy is modeling a beautiful ensemble of soft vintage sheer nylon, flocked with sweet flowers of pink, blue and yellow. Swirling flocked dots connect all the bouquets on this very rare fabric. This is the LAST piece of this find in my cabinet.I gave this dress the sweetheart neckline with dropped waist and sheer puffed elbow length sleeves. True vintage Val lace trims the sleeves. The bodice is underlined with vintage peach pink nylon. It was then lined with the same nylon that was reinforced with interfacing for great body. The 72" skirt has the required 2" hand stitched hem along with a separate nylon liner. The dress closes with 3 square snaps... At the waist is a sweet bouquet of vintage flowers and ribbons to complete this look...!!! The petticoat has 3 layers: The peach pink nylon, a lightweight fabric inner-facing and a lace cover. The bottom hem is lace covered on both sides and more of this lace covers the ruffle's stitching lines on the petticoat's out side. The cream tulle ruffle is very full and has the same lace edging it...I make my petticoats with a waistband and snap closure to reduce bulk and make dressing easier. This petticoat rests below the waist so as to not interfere with the dress closure...Included is a pair of matching lace trimmed panties. I make them to rest below the waist so as to not interfere with petticoat band...
