Original Description:
This is a very rare J.Oswald rolling eye skull clock. made in the Black Forest, Germany, around the 1930/40s. The clock is in very good shape, no chips or cracks. The clock runs great and holds the time perfectly. The skulls chin is marked Germany. The clock is sitting on a bakelite base. Underneath the base it is marked with the trademark sign OS, ges. gesch. Made in Germany. The OS sticker is partly gone. The clock is sitting somewho loose (will turn around) on the base for som...e reason . The base has no cracks or chips. The size of the base is 10 cm x 7.5 cm and the skull is c. 10 cm high x 8 cm wide and 8 deep. The weight is 380 g. This is an excellent collectable and very hard to find.
