Written by Helen Bannerman, illustrated by the great artist Gustaf Tenggren. A Rare title in superb condition with light wear to almost matte like early finish covers. Natural aging but pages are crisp and bright with little or no tanning. Binding is tight. A tough title to add to a collection, even later editions in lesser condition are avidly sought by advanced collectors. This First Edition example is a rare find.

Over the years he upgraded and winnowed hundreds of books down to around 150 rare and excellent condition titles, with an emphasis on first editions.
