Vintage Madame Alexander Elise Doll - Red Head Bride made in 1950s. She is marked appropriately on her neck and back. She is about 15-15 1/2" tall. Please read the description for her condition as she has some issues.
Her face is gorgeous with clear blue eyes and all her eyelashes. However there's a dent or scratch under her left eyebrow and another one on her left cheek. The damage is only noticeable upon close inspection but she is definitely not considered mint. She ha...s a small split in her crotch area, but i didn't see any other seam splits - see photos. Her joints work well and snap into positions just fine.
She may need to be restrung. Her head tilts slightly but stubbornly to one side and doesn't want to be positioned easily.
Her fingers and toes are intact.
Her wig seems to be full and retaining the original curls but is showing a bold spot on the back unless covered.
She is wearing a bridal gown and a slip. The gown is in decent shape but does have a couple of holes as shown in photo. The slip looks ok but the waist band is very stretched out. Both pieces have MA tags. I'm almost certain her veil is not MA but handmade.
All issues considered, she still looks very pretty on display.
