Very good publisher’s original yellow cloth covers with titles in black on the spine and on the f...ront cover. Vignettes a Chinese woman and the titles in Chinese characters in the centre of the front cover.
Spine darkened and the front and rear covers are a little grubby but otherwise in good condition.
New front and rear endpapers. Browning/toning to the edges of the title page. Two library stamps in the bottom right hand corner of the title page.
Browning/toning to the edges of the pages but otherwise the text is in good condition with no foxing, marks or other blemishes.
There is a small library stamp on the reverse side of the illustrations.
A scarce item.
