Exquisite antiqueChinese old white jade carved seal.The jade seal is carvedwith an absolutely fantastic mythical animal. The animal is carved climbing upthe jade seal. Excellent detail and finest workmanship one seldom seen.Old engraved ancient Chinesescript on the base of the seal.The white jade is saidto be hetian jade (和田玉), I cannotbe sure one hundred percent as it is quite a thick piece of jade. It sure hasthe quality of a hetian jade boulder.The jade seal was bought in Shan...ghai in the 1970s. It was from oneof the government owned not very friendly Friendship Stores. The onlydescription about the age was that it was really really old.Excellent condition.
