You haven't lived until you've camped old-school in a japara bushwalker's tent.
Poles and pegs not included. Normal camping store pegs will work, and bushwalkers usually used these with deadfall sticks picked up at the camp, or pitched the tent between two trees.
See the attached excerpt from the 1972 Paddymade cata...logue for pitched dimensions of the tent
This tent is in near new condition - the only defect I can see is a small tear in the product tag as can be seen in the photos.
For a collector of Australiana or of vintage outdoors equipment, it will be impossible to upgrade this japara tent. For a user of vintage equipment it is ready for a lifetime of use and may even outlast you!
These are nearly extinct or forgotten in boxes in people's sheds or attics and usually found eaten by mice and silverfish and thrown away wrecked. As a consequence you very rarely see them for sale and when you do it's for a LOT of money, and they are NEVER in this near-perfect condition.
Make a bid and potentially get yourself the bargain of a lifetime on a completely usable vintage japara hiking/bushwalking tent.
