1950's Royal Copenhagen Henriette Hand Painted Pot
This lovely piece is in beautiful condition.
The pot is in the design called Henriette and is marked to the underside with the Royal Copenhagen back stamp for pieces made in 1949 and the lid 1952. The pretty design is all hand painted with exquisite tiny sprays of flowers including pansies, roses and blue bells. The edges are rimmed in thick gold as can be seen.
The shape of this piece is marked 3709 and th...e lid 3710. It appears to be a marmalade or jam pot and I have not been able to find another in this design. The piece is a factory first. There is some fine pin prick spotting to the ceramic to the under side of the lid as can be seen. This can be seen faintly beneath the glaze as well. The piece is still marked as a factory first.
There is no damage to this piece and no repairs.
The piece measures 125mm tall to the top of the knob and around 94mm across the rim.
