As seen in the picture. The serial number is 387290 (That is the number that was written in the manual.) I do not know how to verify. This typewriter needs cleaning. I pushed all of the keys and they all work, There are a couple that stick (d, f, j, v) in the up position, but most work great. Needs new tape as well. As is, I do not know much about this except it has been in my family since the early 30s. I am including all of the paperwo...rk in the pictures. The typewriter and package weighs about 10 pounds. The typewriter instruction book has been separated because of staples falling out. All other pages are there. Corners and edges are worn as seen in the pictures. If you know of another way to ship with less cost, please let me know. I am willing cut shipping any way I can, but for this heavy of a package, it is expensive. This is a really cool typewriter, but because of downsizing, I cannot keep it any longer. Hopefully it will go to a good home.
