Chicago No.1 Typewriter with Scroll Decals.
Serial number 24, 224.
The example listed here has great potential. The mainspring is broken but, if it were fixed, the typewriter would work well (I have tested the escapement). The scroll decals are still very strong. The paint is blotchy in areas. The exposed metal needs to be polished. No major rust. Obviously it would need a new ribbon. An ideal candidate for r...estoration. Very Good condition overall. Displays well!
