ROBERT MAREK Custom Bowie Knife Handmade w/ Old Cutlery Handle 8" Blade Vintage ... This knife came from the estate (featured on the tv show, Strange Inheritances) of this eccentric, lesser known maker, from Berkeley, CA. The OAL is approx 12.75". Tight as a drum, and features a wonderful high relief cutlery type handle and a sweeping full guard. Possibly made from a file, the blade is saber and hollow ground, and has a long (swedge) false edge. It has Marek style, gray, marbled ...patina. The stock is slightly over 1/8" thick and 7/8" wide at the hilt. Marek made knives are in high demand. He did not sign his knives. This is a fine example of his work. Satisfaction Guaranteed.
