Vintage Pair 1920's ARMOR BRONZE CO. Swashbuckler Pirate Bookends
Both pirates are dressed in "swashbuckler" attire! They remind me of the old romance novels.
Oh, so captivating-from the hats down to the boots. Both hold a sword and each has a foot placed on top of a treasure chest and they both have a revolver tucked into their belt. All of this is on tiered brass color tiered bases.
These bookends were manufactured circa 1928 by Armor Bronze.&...nbsp; The base measures 4" x 3.5". They stand 10.5" tall. I love the condition although the paint is by no means perfect but somehow it compliments the "look" of the handsome guy. Forget McDreamy, Thor or Mr. Depp, if this guy existed, he would be up there with Aqua Man or Fabio back in the day!
