A fine 18th century white Delftware or faience barber's basin or bleeding bowl. Dutch or Continental Europe. It measures 9 1/2" in diameter, with deep bowl, wide sloping rim, and raised footrim pierced for hanging; an old and possibly original twine cord is still attached here. Three kiln stacker marks are visible on the bottom of the rim (see photos). Overall condition is superb, with just a few glaze chips but nothing to the body, and no cracks. A lovely early decorative object. ...Being offered with no reserve.
