This impressive old painting has been cut from the original canvas and laid on to a Masonite backing for stability and repairs over the ye...ars. There is minimal paint loss and heavy crazing throughout but this impressive portrait displays nicely with phenomenal color and unique eye-catching content. She is housed in a nineteenth-century grapevine decorated gesso frame which has light lost to the gesso. Overall a phenomenal estate fresh portrait that is solid and ready to hang.
