Original Description:
Here is a 2nd generation Hays blackduck. It is 16.5" long, was made in 1923 and bears the 207 mark on the bottom indicating a drake blackduck. The paint is totally original. This decoy was used and shows some wear. The head is loose and when removed, shows a 5/8" smooth dowel. It is very tough to find Hays blackducks that are marked. I know of 4. No reserve.
