Here is a rare SSh-40 Red Army helmet with its Red Star decal still clearly visible! It also still has its original netting. The shell shows obvious patina rust which is typical for its age and wear but is not corroded. The netting likewise shows fraying but is largely intact. Half of the chinstrap is missing but the other half is still connected to its D ring and still has its buckle. One of the liners three oilcloth pads is still intact.Don't be discouraged by first appearances of th...e condition of this helmet. To find an original of this model with its decal clearly visible AND its original netting is almost non existent! This is a piece for a genuine WW2 Helmet collector!
