This delightful and interesting brooch dates from the late Victorian era. It is made from brass with a goldstone centre stone. The end unscrews to reveal black and white cotton thread and a recepticle for needles. Worn pinned to Nanny's dress to safe any Victorian "wardrobe malfuctions". Collectable. Very slight nip to back of goldstone not visible when pinned on
