RARE Vintage Cram ' S Universal Terrestrial 12 " Light - Up Globe, Wood Base, No. 4

Here we have a Beautiful, Vintage, WORKING, Cram's Unrivaled Terrestrial Globe--12 inch on a Wooden Base. The globe itself is supported by a metal Atlas figure on each side. The globe measures 15 1/2" wide (with the base) and is 17" high. The globe and meridian lift right off of the base and set right onto the grooves behind Atlas. The Atlas on the right side of the globe does have the very tip of his fingers broken off. I did not notice it unti...l I was taking pictures. As for dating this globe, I know that it is after 1936 because that is when the George Cram company moved to Indiana. There is a spot on the globe toward the bottom that does give that information. It also lists above Antarctica when Byrd reached the South Pole in 1929. The globe is in exceptional condition with no breaks, rips, scratches, etc. The base is also near perfect--except the broken fingers on Atlas. Please see all of the pictures.
