This is a beautiful antique cuckoo clock that is probably a better part of 100 years old. It has carved birds and leaves. The birds have glass eyes. From the top of the bird's head to the bottom of the clock it measures around 19". We purchased it from an older home that was having an estate sale. The weights were attached, which we have along with the chains which are still attached to the inside of the clock. It appears to be in overall good condition. It also has a bird which ...comes out on top. I opened the little doors and the birds were there. I have taken a picture of the works and the interior. I am not sure how you start it, frankly I am not that familiar with clocks. Everything appears to be there and the original finish is still on the wood. A nice addition to any antique or cuckoo clock addition. It is marked Germany on the back and the movement inside is also signed.
