A beautiful and elegant antique Edwardian or very early Art Deco, hand-made silk flapper bag. The colour is a lovely pale dove grey, and becau...se it's silk, it has a nice sheen to it. The bag has been entirely hand-made and a lot of work has gone into making it. It is decorated with a long luxurious silk tassel.
It doesn't have a lining and I am certain this is the way it was made. It is nice and clean inside and has a border of pretty silk ribbon flowers. There are a few very light marks on the outside, but nothing which detracts from its immense charm.
Measurements: 6.5" x 5.5"
The handle measures: 13.5"
Tassel measures: 8.5"
