An excellent condition large gents solid silver fusee pocket watch by E Hunter of Glasgow, Scotland which will date by the London hallmark to circa 1877. The excellent quality chain driven fusee movement has been serviced and is running very well with a good balance swing in all positions. It has nice jewels on the going wheels and capped jewels on the escape wheel which is a sign of a good quality movement. It is keeping excellent time for a watch of over 14...0 years old. There is a winding and setting key supplied.The very nice large solid silver case measures 56 mm diameter approx. with good hinges and the covers closing well. The movement, dial and case serial numbers are all matching and are a good sign of it all being original. It has a nice white ceramic dial and sunken seconds dial with bold black Roman numerals. Fine blued steel hands and an original crystal glass all add to the quality of the watch.This would be a very nice watch to own or collect and excellent for occasional use. I will refund in full if found to be not as described.
