New stainless steel case with movable swing lugs and crystal back professionally made for this wonderful pocket watch movement. The diameter of the watch is 45 millimeters , 67 millimeters from lug to lug and 14 millimeters thick. Original porcelain dial with black Roman numerals signed PATEK PHILIPPE & Co. GENEVE. - BAYLEY, BANKS & BIDDLE. is in perfect condition. Stem wind/set movement # 181206 dates this movement to the year of 1914. Movement is also signed PATEK PHILIPPE & Co. GENEVA. SWITZERLAND - Bayley, Banks & Biddle. PHILADELPHIA. – EIGHT (8) ADJUSTMENTS - SPECIAL. – EIGHTEEN (18) JEWELS. “Special” quality watches were specially adjusted by masters who were the highest paid workers in the watch industry. These watches more expensive than the regular production. High grade 18 jewels, nickel, stripe decorated movement has wolf teeth winding gears, counter poised " moustache" lever, bi-metallic compensated balance wheel with gold screws, Breguet overcoil balance spring, blued hands.
