This early 19th century pocket watch is in a 50mm diameter case in good condition. It looks like silver, but I do not recognise the markings inside the case. The bullnose glass is good, the cream dial has a faint hairline which I have tried to show in the third picture. Inside, is a verge escapement fusee movement, all intact, running well and signed "Robt Snook, St. Johns, N.F.L." St. John's is the capital and largest city of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The bal...ance cock looks like 1810/20. A key will be supplied with this watch, for winding and setting.
