Pristine Condition Gold Heuer Pre Carrera Three Register Valjoux 72 Chronograph Watch
I do no know much about this watch but my research seems to point to it being from the 1940's maybe 1945/6The number on the HEUER Bridge inside the watch is number 42827Anyway this watch is a real survivor and is in astounding condition it looks hardly used with none of the gold wearing even on the lugsThe watch benefited from a service March 2019 and is therefore running really wel...l - see Picture 5The watch is presented in a lovely wooden box (non Heuer)DIAL Beautiful unmarked white which changes along with the lightHEUER logo under the 12 o'clock position Minute scale around the inside of the dial with 5 second markers through to 60 and 10th second fractions in-betweenThree small dials at the 3, 6 & 9 o'clock positions - the 3 o'clock dial is for the chronograph minutes, the 6'oclock dial shows the hours and the 9 o'clock dial is a small second dial.Gold Needle Chronograph second hand is currently settled at the 12 o'clock start position plus Gold minute and hour handssmall "swiss" logo above the 6 o'clock position"made in Switzerland" written below the 6 o'clock positionCase / Case back and GlassGold capped case is in excellent condition with no visible wear to the goldThere are two gold chronograph pushers either size of the gold crown - no visible wear to the pushers or crownThe higher chronograph pusher starts and starts the chronograph and the lower chronograph resets the chronographThe plastic glass remains virtually unmarked when looked at with the naked eye (some light marks under a Jewellers Lupe)
MOVEMENTHEUER manual wind Valjoux 72 movement one of the most reliable made in SwitzerlandThis watch is keeping accurate time and has recently been serviced. Service document lost at present but I am hoping they will turn up
STRAPAftermarket Black leather strap with gold buckleThe strap is in excellent condition and buckle are in excellent condition with few noticeable marks
