Early Arnold Adams & Co. Key Wind/Key Set 13 Jewel Silver Cased Pocket Watch w/ Fancy Key Fob. Lovely enamel dial. Serial # 8332. Detached lever escapement. Silver case 1-5/8" diameter marked #332 and "Argent." Watch will run with basic cleaning and lubrication. No apparent drive train damage. A quite high quality movement, and the accompanying silver key and key fob are fabulous.
Marked as made in London, but members of the National Association of Watch &am...p; Clock Collectors disagree. They say: "This was a brand name used by a Swiss manufacturer between 1840 and 1900. As far as we can tell, there never was a watchmaker with this name."
