For your consideration is the antique, 1904, card game, TROLLEY. This is the deluxe edition with colored cards and a long box with a divider in the box bottom; when issued, it sold for 50¢(ten cents more than the regular edition). It was manufactured by SNYDER BROS., PRINTERS of Elmira, New York. [This is the ORIGINAL game, NOT the reproduction published by Shackman & Co.] The game is complete with all sixty cards, ten of each of the following:
Transfer ...Ticket [1]Passenger [2]Fare 5 cts. [3]Conductor [4]Motorman [5]Trolley Car [10]The cards measure 2-3/8th inches by 4 inches. They have bright red and white backs; each of the suits has 1 green card, 1 orange card, 1 red card and 7 black cards.
CONDITION: The game is COMPLETE with all 60 cards (10 each of 6 suits) and partial instruction booklet (I will include a photocopy of the entire instruction booklet) in the original long box. The cards are gently used and lightly soiled; one of the black Trolley Car cards has a 1-inch closed cut that has been repaired (see close-up). Only 4 pages of the original instruction booklet are extant (pp. 3-6); they are creased and age-toned with small edge chips. The original box insert is in the box bottom.
