I appreciate your courtesy!!***************************************************************************Aloha, Up for sale from a recent estate in Honolulu Hawaii t...his 1920s German Frankfurt 925 Sterling silver giant pierced basket with shell motif lip rim and cherub motif handle that is marked Posen 925 which stands for Lazarus Posen (Lazarus Posen's Widow). A rather rare item from German that is NOT 800 silver but 925 Sterling silver. This item and others that follow are from a former service man that was stationed in Germany after the war and collected a interesting group of items. The items were kept in Hawaii and some of the salty moist air has left its mark on some of the surfaces especially the ones that face up. The items were listed as found and have not been polished or otherwise treated.
