For your consideration is a beautiful Victorian sterling silver bride's basket centerpiece by Frank W. Smith, circa 1906. This basket features a swing arm handle with articulated and pierced edges. Overall design is predominately floral with heavy raised borders with scrolls. The basket dimensions are 12.5 by 10.5 inches and 9.5 inches tall including the handle. It is in very good condition with some tarnish and sits squarely on four feet. There is a small, pencil size dimple near the ...monogram otherwise excellent. The basket interior has a script monogram "SRC" and is inscribed on the reverse March 6, 1906. The basket is marked sterling, 2218 and the Frank W. Smith company mark. Weight for the basket is 1072 grams. It will ship insured and double boxed.
