"Entwurf zu Grüner Rand" original print by Wassily KandinskyOriginal color lithograph from the first edition, signed in plate, published in 1957, centerfold and verso text as issued in DLM No. 101-103, for the exhibition of 62 paintings from Kandinsky for Galerie Maeght, Paris.Created originally in 1919 by Kandinsky in watercolor with brush and ink on paper. Original watercolor is approx. 10" x 13.25", recently sold at auction by Sotheby's for over $1.8 m...illion.
The original color lithograph size is larger than the original watercolor size to conform with DLM and Maeght, Paris standards for publication.Excellent condition, ships with custom mat, framed, wired, ready to hang, with COA.Any questions please ask.
