Vintage & very rare TAG Heuer Titanium & 18K gold quartz chronograph, model 225.206.
In new and unworn condition, this incredibly preserved find is straight out of the time capsule; complete with the original Titanium hard case, Titanium instruction/usage manual and an incredible open TAG Heuer guarantee booklet, complete with all three carbon warranty pages intact and unmarked.
Produced from "space age" mat...erials, Heuer(TAG Heuer) was among the first watchmakers to combine Titanium and 18K gold, rendering the Titanium series to the level of exotic.
In addition to the advanced materials used, comes the unique, Calibre 185 electro-mechanical movement, which could be labeled as TAG's first hybrid. By combining a DD2000 module atop an ETA 955.232(Heuer used 555.232) quartz engine, this movement is considered to be, "ahead of its time".
The 18K gold insets, featured in both the Titanium links and case, provide for a completely elegant yet subdued look. Adding to this, is its remarkably light weight, a mere 42.5 grams on the wrist. Smooth, rounded lines of the case and low-profile, fixed bezel makes for a comfortable fit when your daily dress is that of an executive; long sleeves, ties and suit jackets.
Likely one of the very first produced, under the newly formed TAG Heuer brand, can be evidenced by the Heuer signed case(box), instruction manual and case back; while having the TAG Heuer signed dial, guarantee booklet.
