This auction is for an outstanding vintage 1950's to 1960's artist signed De Simone or DeSimone Italian mid-century modern art pottery majolica glaze tile featuring a woman and her cat.  The colors are superb!   DeSimone was an acquaintance of Pablo Picasso and DeSimone emulated Picasso's style on his own hand crafted ceramic works. He is the only artist who signed his work in a visible place.  This stunning tile measures about 10 1/2" in height and is 2 1/2" across....  The woman is carrying a basket of fruit on her head.  Very stunning and awesome mid-century modern tile!  We will package carefully forshipment and insure.  As always, we are more than happy to combineshipping for multiple purchases, so be sure to check out our other listings andour eBay store items (1950 items, all on sale).  We do have layaway plan available foritems or groups of items totaling $200 or more.  HAPPY BIDDING!!!
