ZENITH - Gentleman's 9ct yellow gold wrist watch 1956 Vintage Classic
ZENITH - a gentleman's wrist watch. 9ct yellow goldcase, hallmarked Birmingham 1956. Numbered 12321, 742212. Signed manual windcalibre 120, numbered 4646482. Discoloured champagne dial with Arabic numeralhour markers. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pinbuckle. 31mm. This was my fathers watch and has been in the family for over over 60 years so I hope that this watch goes to a someo...ne who really appreciates the value of classic watches.
We do have "extract from the registers" dated September 11th, 1956.
As you can imagine for a watch that is 63 years old this will have some some wear and tear over the years but I hope the below describes it as best as possible.
Movement is functioning.Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.Dial is has a little noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate.Hands show signs of marks and tarnishing.Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.Case shows scratches, marks and dints.Crown has light scratches and marking.Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.This lot does not come with box or papers.As I am not a watch seller I may have missed something out on the description but please do drop me a line and I will try to answer it as best as I can.
