A gorgeous Royal Copenhagen porcelain Cup & Saucer in the Flora Danica pattern. It features a finely executed hand painted botanical (Arabis Petraea) on the front of the cup with a lovely gold gilt rim and figural entwined branch handle. The saucer features hand painted leaf accents and a striking gild gilt serrated edge.
Approximate measurements:
Cup - 2.75"h x 2.75" in diameter at top, 3.75" wide from rim to handle end.
Saucer - 5.5" in diameter
Good vintage condition, ...no chips or cracks, minimal use, minimal loss to gilt. Each cup is marked with the botanical name on the bottom. Also marked with the 3 waves and the Royal Copenhagen Denmark hallmark. Additionally marked 20 3597 and initialled by artist.
