Corset waisted shape decorated with elongated oval medallion portrait bust of a bearded soldier in plumed helmet and armor, yellow and orange background.
Flowers and scrolls painted on reverse on cobalt ground with blue, yellow... and white flowers and green leaves. Flowers surrounded by scrolls in yellow, white, violet, light green and blue. All outlined in black.
Looks to be after Master Potter Domenico Veneziano circa 1560-1580.
