DescriptionUnusual hand painted majolica drug jar.Made in the 18th Century, in Italy. Not visibly marked, but guaranteed to be early and original (base photographed).There are some chips and nibbles around the rims and handles of the jar and there is a D shaped section to the foot of the jar that has been detached and restored to a semi-professional standard (can be seen in photographs). Otherwise, it is in good condition, with no other chips, cracks or restoration.It m...easures approximately 8¼" in height.
