This is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. Very Nice Motawi Tileworks design of a Teco art pottery vase. This large vase or vessel features a satin matte yellow gold finish. The base is embossed Teco 2007. There are four small circular brown felt dots to prevent scratching on the base.
Motawi Tileworks produces vases using the Teco name, logo and designs. Teco, founded by William Day Gates outside of Chicago in 1899, had 500 designs. Teco designs are architectural, with clean and simple lines, rather than elaborate patterns. The vases are slip cast, where liquid clay is poured into a plaster mold. Frank Lloyd Wright placed Teco pottery into several of his houses.
This measures 17" High x 6 1/2" Wide. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this large Teco vase.
