This is the vintage and valuable 1964 Hess truck. Both it and the box are in very good to excellent condition.
The truck has all original parts. The lights do not work because there is no wiring going to the cab and no bulb in the cab. Because the working switch is not wired I was unable to test the rear lights. I replaced one door decal and secured the cab to the tank with a black washer. The cab still pivots normally but the washer keeps it from separ...ating from the tank. Except for one decal which is very good the rest are excellent. While replacing the one door decal I also replaced the decal on the funnel.
Considering its age, the box looks very nice. It has the battery card and the insert that holds the funnel.
