For your consideration today is an excellent 1974 Hess Toy Tanker Truck with for sale. This is indeed a 1974 truck because the catwalk is flush with the back of the trailer.
Overall the truck is in great condition. The decals show very slight signs of wear, such as dirt and some minor peeling, as seen in the pictures. In addition, there is a small scratch on the top of the passenger side of the trailer which does not show well in the photos but I felt the need to mention.... These are really the only problems I see with the truck. All chrome is present, original, intact, and without tarnishing. All wheels roll freely with virtually no squeaking. Please be sure to review all photos of the truck before bidding.
The battery compartment is free of any corrosion, and three of the four lights work perfectly as pictured. I cannot get the driver’s side taillight to work.
The original box is included in this auction in great condition as well. There are no major tears, rips, stains, or dirty spots on the box top or box bottom, making it very presentable and sturdy. In addition, there is a rare Caution Sticker on the front flap of the box as pictured. Please review all box photos for full details.
The original bottom insert is included in this auction in excellent condition. The top insert is not included in this auction.
