Original issue early talkie / sound movie sheet music entitled - Help Yourself to My Love, by Herman Ruby & M. K. Jerome. Published 1929 by Piantadosi Inc. of NYC. Theme song to the film PAINTED ANGEL, a First National / Vitaphone pre code motion picture. Art deco cover has large photo of major screen star ... BILLIE DOVE (1903-1997) in costume as Showgirl from the film. Billie Dove appeared on screen between 1921-32, was dubbed "the American Beauty" for her... good looks; she was romantically linked with Howard Hughes for a 3 year period. Among her memorable cinema appearances was opposite Douglas Fairbanks in THE BLACK PIRATE - 1926. This piece of music is complete, & an interesting movie tie-in, 90 years old. Suitable for framing, standard format. This is the only 1 of 4 examples I ran across in 50 years of active collecting. Excellent condition, partially splitting spine, clean - crisp - vivid; etc..
