Pair of vintage 1930's Modernists style bookends made of marble, chrome and bronze coated metal. Being sold "as is" because of wear and tear. A pair of male figures skiing with one pole ( Bronze coated metal) on stylized chrome wave, fastened to a black marble base. No markings as to maker or designer. Very interesting with lots of style. Bumps to all the corners of black marble base. The bronze coated figures and the chrome wave minor flaking to surfaces. All due to wear and use. Bott...oms coated wit green felt appears to be of recent addition.Measurements are base is 2 7/8 X 5 and is 3/4 inches thick. It stands about 3 1/2 inches tall.
