Count Edmund Francis Dunne (1835 – 1904), was a politician and jurist who served as Chief Justice of the Suprem...e Court of Arizona Territory. During his early career, he served in the California State Legislature and as a member of the Nevada constitutional convention.
His later life was spent building the town of San Antonio, Florida, and Dunne was respected as the founder of the "Catholic Colony of San Antonio".
The CDV has been dedicated in pen (and in the same hand as the Dunne signature on the front) to Mr. O.B.O. Bannon of Salt Lake City, Utah, dated October 27, 1866. Bannon was an attorney and clerk of the United States district court during the 1860s-1870s.
CONDITION
CDV measures 4" x 2.5" inches. Image is in good condition a little staining and some small tears to edges.
