The model 1754 stepper was originally made for the 100-select model 404 Capri, but it will also function in the 1493 Princess (though it fits somewhat differently than the 1745 stepper typically used in that model. *You can see in the picture of the underside of the unit, that Rock-Ola made these steppers with the option to move the fuse holder to the opposite side of the unit, as there is an extra hole with a cap on it. I am thinking that this was done so the stepper would be abl...e to fit better in the 1493 Princess. The model 1745 and 1754 steppers are electro-mechanically identical and they only differ in their metal chassis. I actually have 5 of these 1754 stepper units available and this is #2. This unit is in nice condition, with some light surface corrosion in spots, but the original paint will still polish up well. I see no damage to the relays or other electrical components. The cover is from a model 1765 stepper - it fits the same, but you may want to repaint it violet to match the stepper chassis. This unit is sold AS-IS and untested.
