Rorstrand - Sweden Set of 6:
Vintage Rorstrand 6-7/8" dessert or salad plates
pre-1960s mid-century modern
plain white, fluted designSolid White Ribbed Porcelain China From an estate collection of mid-century modern: a coffee service from Rostrand (Sweden) in a solid white porcelain china, very reminiscent of the ribbed design on Royal Copenhagen. Th...e original owners used this coffee service in a mix with Royal Copenhagen White Half Lace dinner settings and Villeroy & Boch's Allegretto serving pieces (see our other store listings for the remaining pieces in the other two patterns.) We were not able to identify the pattern name and have no information on the production dates of the pattern. The stamp on the bottom is a pre-1960s mark. Works extremely well on a Danish Modern or Mid-Century Modern table.
The plates are 6-7/8" in diameter, and make a good dessert plate or small salad plate..
Note that each set you purchase includes 6 plates. At the time of the original posting we have 2 sets (a total of 12 plates) available. Pattern: - unknown pattern name - Maker: Rorstrand (Rorstrund) (Swedish) Item: Dessert or Salad plate Size: 6-7/8" dia. Marks: Silver Stamp to bottom: (Rorstrand mark) 622Condition Notes: Very good estate condition with no chips or breaks. Set includes 6 plates.
