This is the second annual plate in Arabia Finland's production of plates about the Kalevala. The design on the front shows Vainamoinen with a young girl in a forest. The colors are brown, blue, beige, and ivory. The designer is Raija Uosikkinen. Has two holes in the bottom rim for hanging. This is a limited edition plate.
English on the back (also written in Finnish and Swedish): "As she turned her footsteps homeward, pushing through the alder bushes, came the aged Vainamoinen, and ...he saw her in the thicket, finely clad among the herbage."
Condition: Very good condition! No chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. Has a little rubbed off paint on some of the corners.
