Acquired from the estate of Francis J. Brophy of Carrolltown, Pennsylvania.First, a stunning example of a well preserved WWI M1908 Calvary Saddle Blanket with stitched U.S. Ordnance Bomb insignia. It is in amazing conditi...on. Blanket measures 68" 80". There is one very small hole near the insignia, about 1cm.The second item is a WW1 haversack bag, 26th Field Artillery, 12th Infantry, G Company. Very nice with leather strap. Heavily used in the field. Strap attachments are worn.Third, we have a 1918 hatchet sheath, canvas, good condition. Lastly, I just added in the red, white & blue Aguillettes (a.k.a. shoulder straps / ropes). I am unsure of the rank or event that these came from, as I can't find a match online to confirm. They were in the trunk with the other items, so they are very likely from WW1 and worn by the same soldier, or perhaps removed from a fallen foreign soldier as a battle keepsake.Items will be shipped via Priority Mail, insured for the final bid price, and require an adult signature on delivery.
