Up for auction is LARGE GORGEOUS 2 PC GERMAN HAND PAINTED LOVE STORY CABINET PLATES 13".
The original paintings were by an eminent French Artist, Jean Honiere Fraganard, who was born at Grasse, France in 1732. Among his finest works were a group of four panels known as " The Romance of Young Love" The paintings were later
bought by Mr.Pierpont Morgan and in 1915 were acquired for the Frick Collection, where there is a special room dedicated <...br>to these beautiful paintings with furniture of same period.
