Beautiful French porcelain pate terrine covered casserole dish by Apilco. The design (fruits, flowers, and herbs from the French garden and Latin names) is by Ronald Van Ruykenvelt. Measures approx. 5" wide, 7" long, and approx. 5.5" tall (with lid). Marked/signed on underside.
This is a used piece in great condition.
First impression: Beautiful "like new" condition.
Upon further inspection: some minor chips in green paint along a portion of the rim (see pic)t...here appears to be like a thin, white chalky glaze around a portion of the inside of the rim. This isn't noticeable at first and doesn't seem to affect how the lid fits on the dish (see last pic)The rim of this piece is a little off -- as in it's not exactly rectangular (see pics). I thought it was an imperfection specific to this piece, but after further research I believe this is how it's supposed to be. There may be minor and/or insignificant imperfections that I've not noticed or listedPlease see pictures for details and message me with any questions.
