What I have to offer for your viewing pleasure here is this beautiful antique 19th century German beer stein! A classic stippled grey background highlights the green scrolling vines surrounding the gnomes or dwarves celebrating and frolicking merrily along the sides in rich & vivid cobalt blue. The detail to their dress and faces in exceptional. The lower band has a series of smaller figures that I am guess are harvesting the golden brown hops, barley and wheat to later fill the gnomes pitchers. It is hallmarked but the impression is faint and unreadable. It is in superb overall condition for its age with no chips, nicks or cracks, I believe it is missing the lid. It stands 8.75" tall by 3.75" wide across the rim, the base measures 4.5" wide. If paying via PayPal please allow up to 3-5 days after payment is made to ship! Larger items items may take longer.
