An excellent hand written letter from Daphne Du Maurier, addressed from her home at Kilmarth, Cornwall, Du Maurier writes on November 30th 1983 thanking her recipients for a book. Signed 'Bing' - her nickname from childhood ( her sisters being Piffy and Bird, ) to the close.Excellent condition.Dame Daphne du Maurier, Lady Browning, DBE (/duː ˈmɒrieɪ/; 13 May 1907 – 19 April 1989) was an English author and playwright. Although she is classed as a romantic novelist,... her stories have been described as "moody and resonant" with overtones of the paranormal.
